The DKR02.1-W300N-BE74-02-FW is an AC drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and assigned to the DKR Drive Controllers series. Designed for multi-axis industrial automation, the unit regulates torque, speed, and position of large synchronous or asynchronous motors used on production machinery. Its digital intelligent control platform converts three-phase mains energy into a regulated DC link and modulated output, enabling closed-loop motion tasks in presses, gantries, transfer lines, and other heavy-duty automated equipment. The rigid DC bus architecture does not include an internal brake chopper, so regenerated energy must be directed to external devices or handled through line feedback.

For real-time communication, the drive uses a SERCOS interface, allowing synchronous setpoint exchange with upper-level PLCs and motion controllers. Its power section accepts a three-phase input of 3x AC 400 to 480 V ±10%, while the control electronics are supplied from a separate AC 230 V ±10% feed. With an inverter carrier frequency of 4 kHz, the device can deliver a continuous armature current of 141 A, corresponding to roughly 55 kW of output power. For short acceleration bursts, the current rises to 212 A, giving the drive additional headroom for rapid indexing and other brief peak-load conditions. Integrated air ducts support internal blower cooling and help keep semiconductor temperatures within safe limits under rated load.

In continuous service, the controller dissipates 1800 W as heat, so cabinet ventilation must account for blower exhaust inside the enclosure. Despite its 300 A nominal current class, the housing weighs 104 kg, which is still manageable for large cabinet installations. Motion verification is provided through digital servo and resolver feedback, so the same device can operate with legacy resolver-equipped motors or newer high-resolution encoders.
