By converting fixed supply power into controllable three-phase output, the unit executes closed-loop speed and torque commands required for precise industrial motion.

Power to the drive stage is taken from a three-phase mains range of 3 x AC 400 to 480 V ± 10%, while internal logic circuits are supported by a separate AC 230 V ± 10% control supply.
