Communication is handled through the SERCOS interface, which carries cyclic setpoints and diagnostic data over fiber-optic links for deterministic motion exchange. The controller delivers a continuous output of 120 A at a 4 kHz switching frequency and can support about 47 kW of mechanical power in suitable servo applications. Its internal logic and control stages are supplied by a separate AC 230 V ± 10 % source, which helps keep the control electronics stable during load changes. During full-load operation, the heat sinks dissipate about 1600 W, so the cabinet must provide enough airflow and internal clearance to move heat away from adjacent equipment. The controller has an approximate mass of 104 kg, which affects panel support and mounting layout. The DC link is built without an internal brake chopper or integrated bleeder, so regenerated energy must be managed elsewhere on the shared bus. Motor position control uses digital servo and resolver feedback, allowing accurate closed-loop response in multi-axis systems.
