Product Description:
The DKR02.1-W200N-BA08-01-FW is a digital intelligent AC drive controller from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the DKR Drive Controllers series. It converts three-phase mains power into regulated motor currents so that large servo or spindle axes in machining centers, presses, and material-handling cells can run with accurate speed and torque control. The unit is intended for demanding automation duties where stable current regulation and coordinated axis motion are required. Its role in the system is to support high-power operation while maintaining the responsive behavior expected in multi-axis production equipment.
Command signals reach the drive through an analog interface, and the encoder loop is closed with digital servo and resolver feedback. Control electronics are supplied by a single-phase auxiliary line at AC 230 V ±10%. The power stage accepts a three-phase input of AC 400–480 V ±10% and uses a 4 kHz carrier frequency for IGBT switching. At that switching rate, the drive can provide a continuous armature current of 120 A, which corresponds to about 47 kW of mechanical output. The unit has a rated current of 200 A, and the DC link design does not include a bleeder or brake chopper. The drive is in Line 02 with Version 1, and it uses Function Module 01 for control functions.
For short acceleration bursts, the unit can deliver a peak phase current of 141 A. Heat generated by the semiconductors is removed by a built-in blower, and the resulting thermal loss is 1600 W, which must be removed from the control cabinet. The enclosure weighs 104 kg, making it suitable for floor-mounted installation in high-power drive systems. This cooling method supports steady operation on high-inertia loads and helps keep internal temperatures within an acceptable operating range during heavy-duty cycles.
