Product Description:
The DKR 3.1-W200N-BE05-01 is a high-power drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DKR Drive Controllers series. As part of an integrated servo system, the unit translates digital axis commands into a controlled three-phase output for large synchronous or spindle motors used in metal-cutting machines, printing lines, and automated assembly equipment. It regulates torque, speed, and position while processing feedback from connected motors through the series’ standardized control platform. This functionality allows the drive to coordinate demanding motion profiles in applications that require accurate speed regulation and rapid response to changing loads.
Communication is handled by the SERCOS interface, so motion profiles, status words, and diagnostic data travel over a fiber-optic ring that provides resistance to electrical noise and simplifies cabling. Thermal management relies on air cooling with a built-in blower, allowing the controller to remove heat from its heat sink without external air ducts. The controller carries a current designation of 200 A, supporting operation with large motors and high-power drive systems. Under specified dynamic operating conditions, it can supply 141 A for acceleration and changing load demands. The power section uses a rigid DC link without a brake chopper, so regenerative energy must be handled by upstream equipment or returned to the power supply. Rotor position data reaches the controller through digital servo and resolver feedback, enabling closed-loop operation with motors that use either supported feedback method. The controller processes this position data alongside commanded speed and torque values to correct motion errors during operation.
The controller is Series 3 and Version 1, indicating its position within the DKR product generation. It incorporates function module 01, which provides the application logic and parameter memory associated with this configuration. Bosch Rexroth Indramat classifies the unit as a Digital Intelligent AC Drive Controller. Its modular control architecture supports coordinated servo and spindle axes that require digital command processing, motor feedback evaluation, and regulated three-phase power. The controller is intended for installation as part of a complete drive system with compatible power, motor, feedback, and regenerative-energy components.
