Bosch Rexroth Indramat produced the DKR02.1-W300Z-BE02-00 drive controller for demanding multi-axis servo and spindle tasks within the DKR Drive Controllers series. As a digital intelligent AC drive controller, it converts three-phase mains power into controlled output for dynamic motors and exchanges real-time data with higher-level motion platforms. In automated machining centers, packaging lines, and transfer systems, the unit supplies regulated current and monitors feedback so that position, speed, and torque commands are executed with the required precision. This arrangement allows stable motor regulation during rapid speed changes and continuous production duty.
The controller communicates with the motion control system through a SERCOS interface, allowing deterministic cycle times and standardized parameter handling. At a switching frequency of 4 kHz, the power stage can deliver a continuous line current of 141 A, which corresponds to a sustained shaft output of roughly 55 kW when paired with compatible motors. Logic circuits are energized by a single-phase control supply of AC 230 V ±10%, independent of the main power bus. Thermal loading is limited by a built-in air blower that moves heat away from the IGBT stack. The main power section accepts three-phase mains from 3 x AC 400 to 480 V ±10%, making the unit suitable for standard factory power distribution.
During acceleration or short overload events, the inverter can reach a peak current of 212 A, giving additional torque headroom beyond the continuous rating. At full utilization, the electronics and magnetic components shed about 1800 W, so cabinet ventilation must accommodate this heat flow. Despite the high output, the housing and integrated blower keep the mass to 104 kg, which supports installation in multi-drive racks. The unit is version 1 in line series 02 and incorporates function module 02-00 for digital servo and resolver feedback, allowing compatibility with motors that supply either encoder type.
