Product Description:
The DKR 2.1-W300Z-BE02-00 is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DKR Drive Controllers series. Designed to manage high-power servo axes in automated machinery, the unit converts motion commands into regulated three-phase output for large synchronous or induction motors. In an industrial automation line, it operates between the machine control system and the motor, supplying controlled current while monitoring feedback. This arrangement supports precise velocity, torque, and position control for machine tools, printing equipment, and other systems with demanding motion requirements.
Communication and real-time parameter exchange are handled through the SERCOS interface, allowing cyclic position, command, and diagnostic data to travel over a fiber-optic ring at deterministic intervals. Thermal management is provided by a built-in air blower that directs cooling air across the power stage without requiring cabinet-mounted fans. The power section belongs to the 300 A current class, allowing the controller to operate with large motors and demanding axis loads. Its peak output reaches 212 A under the applicable operating conditions, providing current for acceleration and changing mechanical loads. Position verification supports digital servo and resolver feedback, making the controller compatible with motors that use either feedback method. The internal control circuits process these signals to regulate motor current and correct deviations between commanded and measured motion.
The controller carries Design Version 1, which identifies the design revision used for this model. Application-specific control functions are provided through Function Module 02, and the module uses release 00 for its parameter structure and supported features. The unit is classified as a digital intelligent AC drive controller, with current, speed, and position regulation performed internally rather than by an external programmable logic controller. This internal processing reduces the amount of high-speed regulation required from the machine control system while preserving coordinated communication over the SERCOS network. The controller can therefore receive motion commands, evaluate motor feedback, and adjust three-phase output continuously during operation.
