Product Description:
The DKR 2.1-W300N-BE01-00 is a digital intelligent AC drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DKR Drive Controllers series. It converts DC-link power into a variable three-phase output that regulates the torque and speed of connected servo or spindle motors in automated production equipment. The unit serves as the power and control stage in presses, machining centers, and material-handling axes. Its control electronics process motion commands and regulate motor current so connected equipment can follow coordinated speed, torque, and position profiles. This arrangement supports precise motion while allowing the controller to operate as part of a multi-axis drive system.
The controller communicates with higher-level PLCs through a SERCOS interface, allowing deterministic command and diagnostic cycles over fiber-optic connections. Thermal management is handled by a built-in air blower, so an external heat exchanger is not required inside the cabinet. The power section has a continuous output rating of 300 A, providing sustained current for demanding servo and spindle applications. The internal DC link operates as a rigid DC bus because the model does not include a brake chopper or bleeder circuit. During brief changes in load or commanded speed, the inverter can deliver up to 212 A of peak current. Cabinet airflow must remain unobstructed so the blower can move cooling air across the internal power components and heat sink.
The controller has a design version of 1, which identifies the fundamental arrangement of its power and control sections. It includes function module 01 for the application-specific input, output, and regulation functions associated with this configuration. The installed control release is revision 00. Position and velocity loops support digital servo feedback and resolver feedback, allowing the controller to work with compatible motors without additional feedback interface cards. Feedback signals provide the rotor position and speed information needed for closed-loop regulation. The controller processes this information alongside incoming SERCOS commands to adjust motor current in real time as operating conditions change.
