The FWA-ECODR3-FLP-03VRS-MS is firmware for OPTIFEED-FS ECODRIVE03 systems with Profibus / parallel interface and integrated NC control. ECODRIVE03 universal automation system is an economical solution for closed-loop and open-loop control. Features of ECODRIVE0 servo drive systems include multiple integrated functions, broad range of applications and a favorable price to performance ratio. Typical applications for ECODRIVE03 systems include metalworking, handling and assembly systems and automatic handling systems. ECODRIVE03 controllers supports three current ratings which are 200 Amps 100, Amps and 40 Amps. Motor types which are supported by the FWA-ECODR3-FLP-03VRS-MS firmware include MHD, MKD, MKE and LSF. Measuring systems which are supported for the compatible motors include resolver, sine encoder, resolver without feedback data memory, ECI encoder, Hall encoder with sine encoder, gearwheel encoder and hall encoder with square-wave encoder.
Measuring wheel measuring systems supported by the FWA-ECODR3-FLP-03VRS-MS feature incremental encoder with square wave signals which are manufactured by Heidenhain. Master encoder which is supported by the firmware features absolute encoder with 8 – 24 bit SSI format. Functions supported by the FWA-ECODR3-FLP-03VRS-MS firmware include piece counter, detect marker position, encoder emulation including incremental encoder emulation, homing, set absolute distance, probe functions, analog input, analog output, evaluation of absolute measurement systems, module function, control loop settings including velocity precontrol / acceleration feedforward / base load function, travel limited via position limit values and via travel limit switch, torque / force limit via parameters, current limiting, English / German / French language support for diagnostic messages and for parameter and command names, operation time counter and optional encoders including master encoder, measuring wheel encoder and optional load-side encoder. A serial interface on the FLP controllers can be used for firmware upgrades. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
