The DKC01.3-008-3-MGP-01VRS drive controller is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DKC Drive Controllers series. Recognized as an EcoDrive unit, it interprets motion commands and supplies regulated three-phase power to a connected servo motor. The controller uses design version 3 electronics in an IP20 metal chassis for control cabinet mounting, and multi-interface option 01 supports connection to machine wiring. This arrangement allows the unit to coordinate speed, torque, and positioning loops in industrial assembly lines and handling systems.

The controller works from a DC-bus nominal voltage of 300 V created by the upstream power supply. Under continuous duty, it delivers 1.6 A to the motor, and it can supply a short-term surge of 4.8 A for 400 ms when acceleration peaks occur. The connected load is rated at 0.7 kVA, and within this range the unit draws 0.5 A of base load current and sustains 8 A as its rated current. Continuous DC-bus power reaches 253 W, while internal losses are 31.3 W at an 8 kHz switching frequency. The enclosure is rated IP20, which provides finger-safe construction for enclosed installations in a degree 2 contamination environment. A bleeder resistor network of 100 Ω absorbs regenerated energy, backed by 400 Ws of storage capacity, and a 4.7 Ω soft-start element rated at 17 W limits inrush during power-up.

Peak DC-bus capability climbs to 864 W, and motor thermal dissipation is controlled at 52.2 W to protect the windings. The maximum ambient temperature before derating is 55 °C, and full electrical data is valid up to a site altitude of 1000 m. Operation is still possible up to 2000 m with reduced output, and relative humidity may reach 90% without condensation. Total mass is 1.4 kg, which keeps panel loading low. Interface option 01 supports analog, parallel, and serial command sets for flexible integration.
