The DDS02.2-W200-BE72-01-FW is a model of the DDS drive controllers. It communicates with high-level control units via the SERCOS plugin module. The SERCOS module offers inputs to evaluate reference switches, travel range limit switches, and sensor inputs. It is also used with other drives with SERCOS-compatible controls via fiber optic cables. Thanks to these fiber optic cables, there is a rapid and safe data transfer within the drive system. This drive controller can be mounted in a cabinet and cooled via heat technology. Here, heat is lost within the control cabinet, and it requires minimal installation effort.

Motion control with the DDS02.2-W200-BE72-01-FW can be achieved in motors with digital servo feedback or resolver feedback. It has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 20; hence it will not allow the penetration of solid extrinsic objects over 12mm in diameter. The ambient temperature for the adequate function of this drive controller is between 0°C and 40°C, with a maximum relative humidity of 95%. It should be installed at a maximum height of 1000 m above the mean sea level.
