The Bosch Rexroth DDS02.2-W200-BE11-01-FW is an advanced industrial drive controller. It is used for motor control applications. The controller provides electrical power to the motor. It also controls motor parameters including speed, torque and position. The DDS02.2-W200-BE11-01-FW includes integrated support for digital servo feedback and resolver feedback. Motor feedback allows the drive to track motor parameters. The controller adjusts its output, if required, to bring motor parameters in line with desired values that are programmed by an operator. The drive parameters are stored on the software module that is installed on slot U5 of the controller basic unit. The firmware for the DDS02.2-W200-BE11-01-FW is ordered as a separate subposition. The firmware is also stored on the software module. A firmware type plate is attached to the controller. It lists the firmware type code and allows identification of the installed firmware version.

A type plate for the basic unit is also attached to the controller. It lists the serial number and product type code. Information listed on the type plates should be checked at the time of equipment delivery. Faulty or damaged equipment should not be installed. Rated output of the DDS02.2-W200-BE11-01-FW is 200 Amps. The rated current output is valid for specified ambient conditions. The controller output derates if ambient conditions deviate from the specified conditions. The heat generated during operation is dissipated inside the cabinet. Permissible temperature with rated output is 0 to 45 degrees Celsius. Max permitted temperature with derated output is 55 degrees Celsius. Each DDS controller features a command communication module.  The command module installed on the DDS02.2-W200-BE11-01-FW supports SERCOS. Weight of the IP20 rated controller housing is approximately 7.5 kilograms.
