Product Description

The DDS02.2-W050-BE41-02-FW drive controller offered by Bosch Rexroth uses a SERCOS interface for command communications. This interface allows the controller to operate with SERCOS compatible controls through a fiber optic cable. The product can require a large control cabinet for its installation. The device must be in a dry state when it is being transported. It is designed for storage in a dry as well as a shock-free and dust-free environment. The unit comprises a ready-to-operate Bb contact that is closed if the controller is ready for the power to be turned ON. This contact cannot be used as a bridge for the charging resistors.

The product uses a feedback cable with a maximum length of 75m if the manufacturer’s cable is used. The starting lockout of the device can be activated by applying a 20VDC to 30VDC voltage between its AS+ and AS- input terminals. The unit is intended to be operated only if the application adheres to the national EMC directives. It has to be disconnected from the voltage source or the mains before working on its electrical parts with more than 50V voltage. The controller should be worked on only after five minutes of switching it OFF so that its capacitors get discharged completely.

The device portrays rated performance if the maximum installation elevation is 1,000m above sea level. The dangerous movements of the unit due to the connected motor’s faulty control can take place at any point of time during operation. Its control inputs for the associated relay coil have a power rating of 1.5W. The controller features 25g/m3 maximum allowed absolute humidity. The L+, L- and PE terminals in the product are tightened with M5 screws that have 3Nm tightening torque. The controller features backup support for one year and is sent to you through a trustworthy vendor network.
