The DDS02.2-W050-BE41-02-FW is a digital AC servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDS Drive Controllers series. It regulates matched Indramat servo motors in automated machinery by converting command data from the motion controller into controlled three-phase output for the motor windings. It serves as the electrical interface between the motion control system and the connected servo motor. In operation, it supplies regulated motor current so commanded speed and position changes can be followed with stable torque response. This supports consistent closed-loop behavior on positioning and speed-controlled axes.

The controller exchanges real-time data over a SERCOS interface, so it can synchronize with drives and I/O devices on a common fiber-optic ring. A continuous output of 50 A gives the drive the current capacity needed for rapid acceleration without nominal-load derating. Cooling is handled by internal cabinet air, as the internal fan draws enclosure air across the heat sink and removes the need for external ducting. The housing has an IP20 rating, which provides touch protection for live parts but does not seal against liquids. For position feedback, it accepts digital servo feedback from compatible motors for accurate rotor-angle tracking during high-speed motion.

The drive can operate at ambient temperatures from 0 to 45 °C, and it maintains full electrical output at installation heights up to 1000 m above sea level. When resolver transducers are preferred, the second feedback channel supports resolver feedback without additional interface cards. Storage and transport are permitted from -30 to 85 °C, so the electronics remain within their thermal limits before installation. The product is part of Line 02 and uses Version 2 control electronics within the DDS platform.
