The Bosch Rexroth DDS02.1-W200-DS32-00 is a DDS series digital drive controller. It can be operated with a DC power supply that delivers regulated 24 Volts DC output. A configured DDS drive controller is comprised of a basic unit, plugin modules, software module, command communication module and drive firmware. The basic unit features five slots. Two slots are reserved for the software and command communication modules and three are available for optional modules. The command communication module on the DDS02.1-W200-DS32-00 is SERCOS. This module allows serial communication over fiber optic cables. The SERCOS network nodes are connected in ring topology which offers redundant communication paths for reliable communication. Rated output of the DDS02.1-W200-DS32-00 under specified ambient conditions is 200 Amps. The output derates to 80% of rated output at 55 degrees Celsius.

The output of the DDS02.1-W200-DS32-00 derates to 65% of rated output at 5000 meters altitude. The maximum permitted relative air humidity is 95%. The maximum permitted absolute air humidity is 25 g/m³. The protection category of the drive housing is IP20. The unit is not protected against penetration by water. The drive can be installed inside a control cabinet. During cabinet mounting minimum 80 millimeters of spacing should be provided on the top and bottom sides of the controller and 40 millimeters of spacing should be provided on the left and right sides. The drive controller is designed for vertical mounting and dissipates heat inside the control cabinet. Large cabinet should be used for ensuring adequate inter-device spacing.  The controller supports digital servo feedback. Weight of the DDS02.1-W200-DS32-00 is 7.5 kilograms.
