The DDS02.1-W015-R is a basic drive controller under the DDS family from the Rexroth Bosch Indramat Company. It comes in a modular design that is ideal for being used with main and AC servo drives to form a drive package that is cost-effective and ideal for commercial use. When used with LAR, MKD, or MDD motors it becomes an efficient drive that is suited for several industrial applications such as machine tools, handling machines, and robotics. The DDS02.1-W015-R comes configured to suit the functionality of the task at hand. It comes in a unit comprised of a software module, a firmware module, plugin cards, and the main drive unit. Like other DDS drive controllers, it can be connected to supply units with a DC 24V regulated voltage.

It features a resolver motor feedback, a rated current of 15A, and a cold technology cooling system. The software module which houses the drive parameters and firmware can be transferred from one unit to another. The firmware which stores the functionalities of the drive is upgradeable and should be ordered separately. The DDS02.1-W015-R uses a 300V +/-15% DC bus voltage and has a peak current of 15A and a maximum continuous current of 15A. It comes with a protection category of IP 20 making it necessary to mount it in a housing to IP 10 degree protection demands.  

The housing should be free from dust and condensation. The maximum humidity should be 95% and the maximum installation height should be 1000 meters above sea level. Ambient operating temperature is 0 to 45 degrees while the storage temperature is between -30 and 85 degrees. This Rexroth controller is only intended for commercial use. This product comes with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
