The Bosch DDS02.1-A200-DA02-00 is a DDS series digital drive controller. It is developed for industrial control applications. The controller can be used with Bosch motors from the MKD, MDD and LAR product lines for applications such as machine tools, handling machines and robotics. The DDS02.1-A200-DA02-00 can be operated from a 24 Volts DC supply with a regulated output. The voltage on the DC bus of the controller is 300 Volts DC. The output rating of the DDS02.1-A200-DA02-00 is 200 Amps. The controller requires a certain set of ambient conditions for optimal performance. These ambient conditions include 0 to 40 degrees Celsius ambient temperature for operation and altitude of up to 1000 meters. The DDS02.1-A200-DA02-00 can be operated with derated output for temperatures that go up to 55 degrees Celsius.

The output of the DDS02.1-A200-DA02-00 derates to 80% of nominal rated values at 55 degrees Celsius. The output of the controller derates to approximately 65% of nominal rated values at 5000 meters altitude. If both the temperature and altitude lie outside the requires ambient conditions then both load factors need to be multiplied. Housing of the DDS02.1-A200-DA02-00 has a protection rating of IP10. The unit is protected against penetration by a solid extrinsic objects with a diameter that exceeds 50 millimeters. The controller housing does not offer protection from liquids and needs to be installed inside a cabinet. The controller uses air from inside the cabinet for cooling. The controller supports digital servo feedback. Communication module that is available on the controller is analog. Weight of the controller is approximately 7.5 kilograms. A minimum spacing of 80 millimeters should be provided above and below the mounted controller.
