The DDS02.1-A100-DS06-03-FW/S002 model is designed and manufactured by Rexroth Indramat to provide high operational stability under extreme working conditions.  The drive controller consumes the rated current of 100 A. The current consumption of the module at +15 V and -15 V is 150 mA while at +25 VDC it consumes 500 mA. The current consumption with respect to motor feedback is 0 mA for +15 V and -15 V while for +24 V, it is 40 mA. The module consumes the standstill current of the 9.5 A. The energy losses of the drive controller are approximate 80 W. The power loss in the control current is 97 W at 86 A of current.  The modules should only be installed in the control cabinet of at least IP54 protection. The DDS02.1 drive controller belongs to the 2nd series of the DDS family. This controller approximately weighs around 11 Kg, excluding the weight of accessories. DDS02.1 drive controller comes with a SERCOS interface as a communication module and the motor and controller communicate via optical fiber cable. The feedback is done through digital servo feedback. It is equipped with firmware that is ordered separately.

The DDS02.1-A100-DS06-03-FW/S002 controller housing is protected under the IP20 protection category. It has an ambient temperature range between 0 to +45 degree Celsius.
