DDS2.2-W025-B is a digital drive controller. It is designed and produced by Bosch Rexroth. The controller is used for industrial motor control applications. It has a modular design with one slot for an optional hardware module. The controller has two additional slots: these are designated for a software and a command communication module. firmware for the controller and configuration parameters are stored in the software module. Firmware for the unit has to be ordered as a separate subposition. The firmware sets the functional specifications of the controller, and operators must select firmware that matches their application requirements. Rated output of the DDS2.2-W025-B controller is 25 Amps. Bosch has designed it with support for both resolver feedback and digital servo feedback. Support for both these feedback methods allows controller use with a very wide range of Bosch Rexroth industrial servo motors. The DDS2.2-W025-B is an air cooled controller.
