Product Description:

The DDS family of reliable and sustainable drive controllers by Rexroth Indramat contribute in developing state-of-the-art automated drive system. Its typical applications include packaging machines, printing, robotics and transfer facilities. The DDS2.1-F050-D is a basic variant of drive controllers by Bosch With an input of 50A rated current, this drive controller makes it way to control a long list of AC servo motors including 2AD, LAF, LSF, MDD, MDK, 1MB and MBW. The modular concept makes it possibly flexible to combine with AC servo motor and form a single drive unit. These drive units are delivered by Rexroth configured for the desired function. The DDS2.1 drive controller uses coolant to maintain the motor temperature when used in ambient temperature ranging from 0 and +45 degree Celsius. It is available in two sizes and cooling modes. The control unit can be used in outdoor applications enclosed in a separate housing with IP rating of 10. The module can be mounted using standard screws and tightening torque. The model DDS2.1-F050-D can operate with 300 V DC bus voltage (10% tolerance). This model falls in IP20 protection category and requires a housing or control cabinet with at least IP10 degree of protection. When needed to store the device, the ambient temperature must be maintained above -30 and below +85 degree Celsius. The IP20 rating confirms its protection against solid particle of size up to 50mm and no protection against penetration by water. Customers can order this from a broad power spectrum. If installed in congested space, a sufficient ventilations gap may be provided to allow convection. This Indramat drive controller is well-packed before sending it to customer.
