Product Description:

The Bosch DDS03.2-W030-BA01-01-FW is the basic unit for a DDS drive controller. By selecting the proper firmware and hardware options, you can adapt it to your requirements. The firmware you choose should support the features that you require. For this reason, firmware for the controller is ordered as a separate subposition. You can also choose from a wide range of hardware options. The available options include absolute encoder module, analog signal interface, ARCnet coupler card, incremental position interface, gearwheel encoder interface, and high-resolution positioning interface. Three slots on the basic unit are available for hardware options. The other two slots are reserved: one slot is reserved for the firmware module, and the other for a command communication module. The command communication module on the DDS03.2-W030-BA01-01-FW is analog. Rated current output of the controller is 30 Amps.

The controller supports two motor feedback methods: resolver feedback and digital servo feedback. Motor feedback allows the controller to obtain information about motor operating parameters such as speed and torque. The controller compares this information – or feedback – with programmer motor parameter values. If there is any difference between operating and programmed values, the controller adjusts its output to bring motor parameters in line with programmed values. The controller is designed for heat technology. It does not feature a heat sink. The heat generated during operation is dissipated inside the cabinet. You use large cabinets to ensure maintenance of ambient temperature within specified limits. You can also use air-conditioning to cool the cabinet. Protection category of the DDS03.2-W030-BA01-01-FW controller is IP20. The controller is not safe from either dust or moisture. For improved protection, use a cabinet with the appropriate protection rating.
