The DDS03.2-W015-BE23-01-FW is a digital AC servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DDS Drive Controllers series. It manages torque, velocity, and position loops for synchronous and induction motors in automated packaging machines, handling units, and transfer stations. The unit is part of Line 03 and is built as Version 2. It also carries Function ID Version 01, which marks the control configuration used by this drive. This allows the controller to act as the power stage between the machine control and the connected motor while fitting the modular DDS platform.

Communication takes place over the SERCOS interface, allowing deterministic motion data exchange with higher-level control systems. For rotor position confirmation, the controller processes digital servo and resolver feedback, so it can work with common motor feedback types used in mixed machine platforms. Heat is removed by internal air cooling, which means cabinet air passes through the heat sink and no external ducting is required. Rated output is available at installation altitudes up to 1000 m above sea level, so most factory locations do not require altitude derating. The drive is suited to centralized cabinets that distribute power across several axes and use modular motion hardware. In those systems, one controller can support feed drives, indexing mechanisms, and positioning modules while maintaining closed-loop motor control through the selected feedback channel.
