The DDS drive controllers are dynamic drive control units with modular designs and extensive functionality. These devices can adapt to various applications via components like plugin modules, software modules, and firmware. They are typically used in machine tools, textile machines, and printing and packaging machinery.
The DDS03.1-W050-RL01-01-FW is a Version-1 DDS drive controller model with a rated current of 50A. It employs the heat technology cooling system; thus, it is installed in a large control cabinet and requires minimal effort during installation. It also connects with AC servo motors such as the MDD, MKD, and LAR motors using the Indramat motor power cable. This cable is ready-made with three lines for motor power connection and one for protective conductor connection. The drive controller is also compatible with only motors with a Resolver Feedback encoder. It supports the use of firmware; however, it is to be purchased as a separate sub-item and updated regularly to improve its efficiency.
A single-axis positioning module is available on the DDS03.1-W050-RL01-01-FW as its communication option. It expands the drive controller to form a standalone single-axis positioning unit. Like other DDS drive controllers, this unit is compatible with only Indramat supply units with a regulated DC 24V Voltage. It has a protection degree of IP 20 according to EN 60529, meaning it is contact-proof and cannot be penetrated by external objects with a diameter of 12mm or more. It is best operated within an ambient temperature range of 0°C to 45°C. The maximum installation height of this product is 1000m above sea level, and it requires a dry space with a temperature range of -30 to +85°C for storage.
