By converting low-level command signals into regulated three-phase output, the unit closes the electrical side of the motion control loop for indexing tables, gantries, and material-handling axes. This operating method lets the drive respond quickly to reference changes while maintaining stable motor control during acceleration, deceleration, and holding phases.
This controller exchanges setpoints with the master PLC through an analog interface, so ±10 V reference levels are used for commanded torque or speed instead of a fieldbus link.
