The unit delivers a rated output of 30 A, so the connected motor can draw continuous phase current suitable for medium-power axes without additional amplifiers. Command and diagnostic data travel through an INTERBUS-S interface, allowing the controller to operate on decentralized I/O networks commonly used in packaging and material-handling lines. Thermal energy is removed by air from inside the control cabinet, so the cabinet's own fans must provide enough circulation to prevent heat buildup around sensitive electronics.
