The DDS03.1-W030-DL01-00 is a digital AC servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDS Drive Controllers series. As a controller, it forms the link between a PLC and an Indramat servo motor, regulating current and velocity so the motor can follow precise position commands in automated assembly lines, material-handling cells, and packaging equipment. In a typical machine, it serves as the power and regulation stage between the control system and the motor, converting electrical supply and control commands into controlled motion. The unit mounts inside a control cabinet and supports compact, modular motion control in multi-axis drive stacks.
This controller delivers a continuous output of 30 A, allowing it to energize mid-frame servo motors without derating. Command data reach the drive through a single-axis position control interface, so an external control system can issue point-to-point or interpolated moves. Heat is removed by internal air cooling, and cabinet airflow passes over the heat sink without requiring separate fans on the module itself. Rotor position is monitored through digital servo feedback, giving the drive real-time encoder information for tight speed loops and automatic phase alignment after power-up.
