The DDS02.2-W200-BT29-02-FW is a digital AC servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDS Drive Controllers series. Installed inside a control cabinet, the unit receives velocity or position commands from a CNC or PLC, shapes the output current, and excites matched servo motors. By providing closed-loop regulation and diagnostic signaling, it serves as a key element in packaging, printing, and material-handling automation. In cabinet-based motion systems, it works as the power stage between the incoming control command and the electrical output delivered to the motor windings. This control function helps connected axes maintain stable motion during acceleration, constant-speed travel, and stopping sequences.

The drive tolerates a continuous phase current of 200 A, enabling it to energize high-torque motor groups without saturation. Cooling is accomplished with air from inside the control cabinet, so the cabinet must provide unobstructed airflow for full rating. The unit can be stored or transported within −30 to +85 °C, allowing spare drives to be kept in non-climate-controlled warehouses. Motion feedback is available through digital servo feedback for higher-resolution tasks and resolver feedback for rugged environments, and both options are handled by the same drive slot without accessory cards. This flexibility allows the same controller platform to support different motor feedback systems without changing the base unit. That arrangement is useful in mixed machine platforms where some axes prioritize precise position data and others favor simple, durable sensing. The drive is part of Line 02 and is built in Version 2.
