The DDS02.2-W200-BE78-00-FW is a drive controller developed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and grouped within the DDS Drive Controllers series. Designed for cabinet installation, the unit forms the power and control interface between Indramat servo motors and higher-level automation hardware. By adjusting current and velocity loops in real time, the controller directs torque delivery to brushless motors used on packaging lines, printing presses, and assembly stations. Because the control and power stages are combined in one cabinet-mounted module, it suits centralized machine layouts where several axes are coordinated from a common enclosure.

Communication with the machine control layer occurs through the SERCOS interface, which carries cyclic position and status data over fiber optics and helps reduce electrical noise inside the cabinet. Thermal management relies on internal air cooling, so the enclosure must provide enough airflow to remove the heat generated by the power section.
