Product Description:
The DDS02.2-W200-BE41-01-FW is a digital AC servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DDS Drive Controllers series. As a controller, it supplies regulated three-phase power to synchronous and induction servo motors while coordinating torque, speed, and position loops for automated machinery. In factory cells, it links motion axes to higher-level PLCs so conveyor sections, pick-and-place arms, or tooling tables can follow programmed trajectories with tight precision. It is suited to coordinated multi-axis equipment that depends on repeatable closed-loop motion.
With a continuous output capability of 200 A, the unit can drive medium-to-high-power servo motors without current derating under rated conditions. Motion commands and diagnostic telegrams arrive through the SERCOS interface, providing deterministic fiber-optic communication between multiple drives and the CNC or PLC. Component ingress protection is limited to IP20, so the controller must be mounted inside a cabinet. Internal fans move air drawn from inside the control cabinet across heat sinks, eliminating the need for external ducts. The permitted operating range is 0 to 45 °C, and the drive maintains thermal stability while delivering full output within that window. The unit is part of Line 02, uses Function ID version 01, and is device version 2.
Feedback handling covers digital servo feedback and resolver feedback, allowing the same controller to read high-resolution encoders or standard analog resolvers without extra cards. The drive can be installed up to 1000 m above sea level before additional cooling or derating calculations are required. When powered down, storage is permitted between -30 to 85 °C, which helps protect insulation and internal components during transport or extended downtime. Because the control section is supplied blank, the required firmware must be ordered as a separate subitem, and the selected firmware must match the motor type and SERCOS telegram version.
