Product Description:
The DDS02.2-W200-BE34-02-FW is a Digital AC Servo Drive Controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the DDS Drive Controllers series. In an automation cell, it supplies regulated three-phase power to a matched servo motor and exchanges real-time motion data with higher-level controls. This makes it suitable for coordinated axes that require stable speed, torque, and position control during continuous machine operation. Because the controller regulates motor current in real time, it supports precise response during indexing, synchronization, and speed changes.
This controller is rated for up to 200 A, providing the current capacity needed for rapid acceleration profiles and demanding servo loads. Drive status and setpoints move over a SERCOS interface, so deterministic timing can be maintained on the fiber-optic ring. Heat produced by the switching elements is removed by air from inside the control cabinet, allowing the cabinet airflow to carry heat away without external ducting. Motor transducers connect through channels for digital servo feedback and resolver feedback, so the unit can work with either high-resolution electronic encoders or resolver devices. Component boards and terminals are protected to IP20, which helps prevent accidental contact with live parts when the enclosure is open. The unit is part of Line 02.
The drive operates continuously between 0-45 °C, so full output can be maintained within that ambient temperature range. For storage and transport conditions, the electronics withstand -30-85 °C and can return to normal operation after power-up within the permitted range. At installation sites up to 1000 m above sea level, air density remains suitable for the specified cooling method. Storage and operating ranges should not be treated as interchangeable, because the unit must return to the permitted ambient range before energized use.
