The DDS02.2-W200-BE32-01 is a digital AC servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DDS Drive Controllers series. In multi-axis machinery, it provides closed-loop current and velocity control for servomotors, linking a higher-level motion controller to the power stage that energizes the motor windings. By converting command data into precisely modulated phase currents, the unit supports coordinated motion in automation cells, pick-and-place gantries, and precision machining centers. This arrangement helps maintain stable motor response during contouring, indexing, and other motion sequences that involve frequent speed and load changes.
Communication is handled through the SERCOS interface, which supports deterministic fiber-optic data exchange for synchronized axis control. A rated output of 200 A supports high dynamic torque demand, while the IP20 enclosure requires installation inside a control cabinet. Heat is removed by internal air cooling, so cabinet airflow must carry heat away from the drive during operation.
