The DDS02.2-W200-BE18-01-FW is a digital AC servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDS Drive Controllers series. It is designed to regulate torque, speed, and position of compatible servo motors in automated machinery, allowing the main control system to coordinate motion axes with high precision. By converting logic-level commands into three-phase motor power, the unit supports closed-loop processes in packaging, printing, and material-handling equipment. Typical uses include indexing axes, transport systems, and rotary stations that depend on repeatable motion control.
The controller links to higher-level CNC or PLC hardware through a SERCOS interface, providing deterministic real-time communication over fiber-optic rings. A continuous output of 200 A lets the drive supply large motor currents without derating, which suits axes with high inertia and frequent acceleration. Its enclosure has an IP20 rating, which helps prevent accidental contact with energized parts while the drive is installed inside a protected cabinet. Acceptable ambient conditions range from 0 to 45 °C. Heat is removed by internal cabinet air cooling, so cabinet airflow must be maintained during operation.

Installation is supported up to 1000 m above sea level, and operation above that height may require additional cooling or derating.
