Product Description:
The DDS02.2-W200-BE10-01-FW is a digital AC servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DDS Drive Controllers series. The controller belongs to Line 02, uses hardware version 2, and is paired with Function ID version 01. In industrial automation, it supplies regulated three-phase power to synchronous or induction motors and coordinates motion sequences by exchanging cyclic data with higher-level PLCs. This lets the drive act as the power stage between the supply bus and the motor while supporting controlled torque, speed, and axis movement.
The drive delivers a rated output current of 200 A, allowing it to handle medium-to-high power axes without sustained derating. It communicates with the motion controller over the SERCOS interface, so parameter data and setpoints circulate on a fiber-optic ring at deterministic rates. Cabinet air passes through the heat sink for thermal regulation; the specified cooling method is air from inside the control cabinet, which removes the need for external blowers. Electrical parts are protected to IP20, indicating finger-safe construction but no sealing against liquids. The permissible ambient operating range is 0 – 45 °C, allowing full current output in standard control rooms. Firmware is ordered separately, letting the machine builder load only the required features.
For feedback processing, the controller accepts digital servo feedback signals for high-resolution position loops and also supports resolver feedback where rugged electromechanical transducers are preferred. Encoder data combine with the SERCOS command words to execute velocity and torque loops inside the drive. That arrangement allows the unit to close motion loops internally while the higher-level control system sends synchronized commands. Installation is approved up to 1000 m above sea level without extra cooling. The unit can be stored or shipped at -30 – 85 °C, provided it is thermally equalized before power-up.
