The DDS drive controllers are modular devices designed and manufactured by INDRAMAT and consist of hardware and firmware. When combined with AC motors such as the LAR, LSF, and MDD motors, a DDS drive controller functions as a rapid-response drive. The typical applications of this device include textile machines, printing and packaging machines, robotics, and handling machines.
The DDS02.2-W100-BE81-00-FW is a drive controller model in the DDS series. The heat generated in this device is eliminated using heat technology. With this mechanism, there may be a need for additional air conditioning. It also features a SERCOS interface which allows the controller to be operated with SERCOS-compatible controls using a fiber optic cable.
