The DDS02.2-W100-BE56-01-FW is a digital AC servo drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and assigned to the DDS Drive Controllers series. It supplies regulated three-phase power to compatible synchronous or induction motors in automated machinery. The controller converts motion commands from higher-level control systems into the torque and speed response needed for positioning, conveying, and other industrial motion tasks. In automated lines, it serves as the power stage between the control platform and the motor, helping axes respond smoothly to changing load demands. Its design suits cabinet-mounted multi-axis systems that require stable closed-loop motor control during continuous operation.

This unit communicates with the machine control system through the SERCOS interface, allowing deterministic command and status exchange over fiber-optic cabling. Motor position data can be processed through digital servo feedback and resolver feedback, which allows compatibility with different encoder and resolver arrangements. The drive belongs to Line 02 and uses Function ID version 01 within the DDS platform. It is built as Version 2, which identifies the product revision used for this model. This combination allows the controller to work with feedback devices commonly used on Rexroth servo motors and related drive packages.
