The DDS02.2-W100-BE46-01-FW is a digital AC servo drive controller from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the DDS Drive Controllers series. Within an automated cabinet, it converts the shared DC bus from a supply module into regulated three-phase power for a connected servomotor, enabling precise velocity and position loops used in packaging machines, gantry axes, and similar equipment. The unit slides into a modular rack and exchanges commands with the main PLC for coordinated multi-axis motion. It is intended for cabinet-based motion systems that use a central supply module and separate axis drives, so several axes can operate from the same power platform.
Communication with the automation network occurs through the SERCOS interface, so cyclic setpoints and diagnostics travel over fiber. The power stage carries 100 A, allowing the drive to supply high-torque motors without derating under normal operating conditions. An enclosure rated IP20 prevents accidental contact, and heat is removed by air from inside the control cabinet drawn across the heat sink. Motion feedback arrives by digital servo feedback, delivering fine incremental resolution for tight speed control. Resolver signals are also accepted, broadening motor compatibility. The drive belongs to Line 02, uses Version 2, and carries Function ID 01.
