The DDS02.2-W100-BE14-02-FW belongs to the DDS Drive Controllers series from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. As a digital AC servo drive controller, it provides closed-loop regulation for synchronous and induction servomotors used in material-handling stations, packaging lines, and other automated cells. The unit forms the intermediate layer between a motion controller and a motor, translating command data into controlled current and voltage patterns that generate precise torque and speed. Because current regulation happens inside the drive, the higher-level controller can focus on motion commands and axis coordination.

This model communicates with higher-level motion systems through a SERCOS interface, allowing real-time exchange of setpoints and status words over a fiber-optic ring.
