Given its modular configuration, the innovative DDS drive system by Bosch Rexroth displays a high level of flexibility for various industrial applications. One of its components is the DDS drive controller, which can be used to create rapid-response drives. The drives are obtained when the drive controllers are connected to AC servo and main drives. Their applications include printing and packaging machines, handling machines, and robotics.
The DDS02.2-W100-BE11-01-FW is a drive controller of the DDS drive series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is equipped with a SERCOS plug-in module for its secure communication with other control units. The module uses a fiber optic cable to control digital drives with SERCOS-compatible controls. These cables can be ordered as separate sub-items from Bosch Rexroth and are suitable for safe and rapid information exchange. The SERCOS plug-in module also provides inputs for evaluating reference switches, travel range limit switches, and sensor inputs.
A DC bus voltage of 300V with an allowance of ±15% is required to operate the DDS02.2-W100-BE11-01-FW while its rated current is 100A. Motors that can be connected to this device can have either digital servo feedback or resolver feedback. It also features the heat technology mechanism where heat is eliminated in the control cabinet that houses the drive controller.
