The DDS02.2-W100-B is a digital AC servo drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied within the DDS Drive Controllers series. Installed inside a control cabinet, the unit converts energy from a common DC bus into controlled three-phase output for synchronous or induction servo motors used in pick-and-place stations, packaging machinery, and other motion axes. Its role in an automation cell is to close the current loop in real time while exchanging position data with higher-level PLC hardware.
The drive works from a nominal DC link of 300 V and can deliver a continuous motor phase current of 60 A; the internal bus allows up to 70 A continuous when adequate airflow is present. Dynamic events are accommodated through a peak output of 70 A for short bursts, while the rated supply section is specified at 100 A. Logic electronics inside the basic unit draw 150 mA from –15 V and 150 mA from +15 V rails, with 500 mA required on the 24 V control line. Heat is removed by air that circulates from inside the cabinet, so external ducting is not needed.
