The DDS02.2-W050-BE75-02-FW is a Bosch Rexroth drive controller. It belongs to the DDS product line. DDS controllers are designed to either dissipate heat inside or outside the cabinet. Controllers that dissipate heat inside the cabinet need to be mounted in large cabinets. If large cabinets are not available then air conditioning is required. Controllers that dissipate heat outside the cabinet can be mounted in smaller cabinets. The DDS02.2-W050-BE75-02-FW is designed for heat technology i.e. heat dissipation inside the cabinet. The recommended temperature of air that surrounds a working controller is 0 to 45 degrees Celsius. The controller output derates linearly between 45 and 55 degrees Celsius. The maximum derating of 20% is reached at 55 degrees Celsius. Bosch not permit operation of the DDS02.2-W050-BE75-02-FW controller at temperatures exceeding 55 degrees Celsius.
The maximum recommended altitude for controller operation is 1000 meters. The output of the DDS02.2-W050-BE75-02-FW derates non-linearly between 1000 and 5000 meters.
