The DDS02.2 series drive controllers are rapid response drive systems designed for industrial environments with constantly changing, dynamic motion applications. The DDS02.2-W050-BE31-01-FW comes from this series and is meant to be used with Rexroth’s famous industrial motors that include motors from the LAR series, the 1MB series, the MBW series, the LAF series, and the MDD series (in addition to other series). The drive controller enables these motors to become highly efficient rapid response systems that have real time control over operational parameters like speed, torque, and position. The design of the DDS02.2-W050-BE31-01-FW is module-based and users can add or remove modules based on specific applications required. The system comes with protection against damage caused by objects that are greater than 12.5 mm in size. This protection is guaranteed under the system’s IP 20 degree protection.
The DDS02.2-W050-BE31-01-FW’s basic structure can be configured beforehand to suit customer requirements. The system operates on // A peak current and a // A continuous current. The drive controller’s features make it a very suitable option for areas like metal machining industries, woodworking industries, textile industries, paper printing industries, material packaging industries, and automotive industries.
