The DDS02.2-W050-BE06-01-FW is a digital AC servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and assigned to the DDS Drive Controllers series. The unit coordinates torque, speed, and position loops for synchronous and induction motors in automated machinery such as packaging stations and material-handling axes. Acting as the interface between the machine control system and the motor windings, it converts commanded motion profiles into regulated three-phase output currents while monitoring feedback devices to maintain accurate positioning during repeated machine cycles.
With a rated output current of 50 A, the controller can energize medium-power servo motors without saturation. Command data reaches the unit over the SERCOS interface, so fiber-optic cabling can link multiple drives in a deterministic ring for synchronized motion control. Rotor position is processed through combined digital servo feedback and resolver feedback, allowing compatibility with different feedback devices and giving the control system accurate motor position data.
