The Bosch DDS02.2-W015-BE30-01-FW is a DDS02.2 series digital drive controller. The controller has a modular architecture with a basic unit that has slots for mandatory and optional hardware modules. The mandatory hardware modules include a software module and a command module. Three slots are available for optional modules. The combination of optional modules and firmware can be used to adapt the controller to a wide range of customer applications. The command module on the DDS02.2-W015-BE30-01-FW supports the SERCOS standard. This standard enables serial communication in real-time between compatible control devices. The physical medium used by the technology is fiber-optics. The data transmission speeds supported by the SERCOS standard include 2 Mbps and 4 Mbps. Advanced versions of the SERCOS standard are compatible with Ethernet and support up to 100 Mbps full duplex communication.
Firmware for the DDS02.2-W015-BE30-01-FW controller is ordered as a separation subposition. It is housed on the software module which is the second mandatory module.
