The Bosch DDS02.2-A200-BE77-00-FW is an air-cooled DDS drive controller with 200 Amps rated output. It features a heat sink for improved heat dissipation. The heat sink is located outside the cabinet where the controller is installed. As a result only 20% of the heat is dissipated inside the cabinet and a large portion – up to 80% - is dissipated outside the cabinet. The controller enclosure is IP20 rated. Therefore the controller has to be mounted inside a cabinet for protection from dust and moisture. The permissible ambient temperature range is 0 to 45 degrees Celsius. The output of the DDS02.2-A200-BE77-00-FW derates between 45 and 55 degrees Celsius. Bosch does not permit use of the controller above 55 degrees Celsius ambient temperature. The output of the DDS02.2-A200-BE77-00-FW also derates at altitudes of more than 1000 meters.
Bosch does not permit use of the DDS02.2-A200-BE77-00-FW at altitudes of more than 5000 meters. Both load factors must be multiplied if the temperature and altitude exceed permitted values simultaneously. The DDS02.2-A200-BE77-00-FW controller supports two type of motor feedback: digital servo feedback and resolver feedback. Available command communication modules for DDS controllers include analog interface, Interbus interface, SERCOS interface and single-axis positioning control. The DDS02.2-A200-BE77-00-FW is available with SERCOS command communication interface. The controller firmware is located on a software module that installs on slot U5 of the basic unit. In case of controller failure, the software module can be removed and installed on a replacement controller. This allow rapid drive commissioning and prevents prolonged system outages. The DDS02.2-A200-BE77-00-FW runs on 24 Volts DC power that must be supplied by a regulated DC power supply. Only qualified personnel should handle and install the DDS02.2-A200-BE77-00-FW controller.
