Product Description:

The INDRAMAT DDS drive controllers represent state-of-the-art innovation in the automation industry. They are designed in a modular fashion, and the various components include the basic unit, plugin components, software modules, and firmware. When integrated with AC motors such as LAR, MKD, MDD, and so on, the drive controller functions as a fast-response drive. The DDS drive controllers can be used in textile machines, printing and packaging machines, handling machines, etc.

The DDS02.2-A200-BE16-01-FW is a version 2 digital drive controller in the DDS series. It has a rated current of 200 A and can be operated with all INDRAMAT supply units with a controlled voltage of 24 V. It enables the use of firmware which is essential to the operation of the drive controller. Also, it utilizes a SERCOS interface which allows for the evaluation of reference switches, travel range limit switches, and sensor inputs. This controller uses the INDRAMAT motor power cable to connect to a motor. This cable has three lines for motor power connection and can be extended to a maximum length of 75 m. Due to the design of the motor, heat generated is transferred directly outside.

The DDS02.2-A200-BE16-01-FW’s protection class is IP20; hence, it cannot be penetrated by objects with a diameter of 12mm or more. Also, it is protected against dust penetration but vulnerable to low-pressure water jets. It is also embedded with digital servo feedback. When in storage, this motor should be kept in an environment with a -30 to +85° C temperature range. For efficiency, INDRAMAT recommends this motor be operated in a room with an absolute humidity of 25 g/m³ or less.
