The DDS drive controller series is a set of modular, ultra-modern drive control units built by INDRAMAT. They can be configured to execute specific functions in different AC motor series. This includes the MDD, MKD, LAR AC motors, etc. A configured DDS drive controller consists of hardware and firmware. The hardware is made up of the basic unit and plugin modules. These drive control units are commonly used in robotics, handling machines, machine tools, printing and packaging machinery, and textile machines.
The DDS02.2-A200-BE12-01-FW is a 2nd edition drive controller of the DDS02 line. For communication technology, it presents a SERCOS interface that utilizes a fiber optic cable to enable communication between the drive and control unit. Also, it is equipped with dual-motor feedback of digital servo and resolver feedback. Furthermore, INDRAMAT recommends this controller be operated in a room with a relative humidity of 95% or less. It can be connected with all INDRAMAT supply units with a regulated DC voltage of 24 V. Meanwhile, heat generated in this drive controller is directly transferred outside, enabling its attachment to small control cabinets without needing a heat conductance system.
The DDS02.2-A200-BE12-01-FW is operated using firmware, though this component must be purchased as a separate item. For connection to AC motors, it utilizes an INDRAMAT motor power cable with a protective conductor connection. Also, INDRAMAT motor cables have a maximum length of 75 m. To maintain proper working conditions, this motor is not be installed past a maximum height of 1000 m above sea level. In addition, this product has a blower unit with the blower impeller located outside the control cabinet.
