The DDS02.2-A200 is a digital AC servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDS Drive Controllers series. It provides closed-loop current and velocity regulation for synchronous or induction servo motors, allowing coordinated positioning and speed control on machining centers, packaging equipment, and automated material-handling axes. By interfacing with a motor encoder and a higher-level motion processor, the unit converts command words into precisely timed three-phase output. In closed-loop operation, the drive compares commanded motion with feedback from the motor and corrects current delivery fast enough to maintain stable torque during starts, speed changes, and load disturbances. During continuous duty, the controller can deliver up to 200 A of motor current.
