The DDS02.2-A100-BE06-01-FW is a modular digital AC servo drive controller from the DDS Drive Controllers series. It is mounted on an interlinked rack beside a supply module, where it energizes synchronous and induction motors for coordinated machine motion. The unit converts command data from a higher-level control into regulated current and voltage at the motor phases, supporting accurate speed, torque, and position control across automated industrial axes. Its rack-mounted format also suits multi-axis assemblies in which several controllers share a common power section inside the cabinet.

Communication is handled through the SERCOS interface, so setpoint, parameter, and diagnostic data travel on a fiber-optic ring with strong immunity to electromagnetic interference. The drive can supply a continuous phase current of 100 A, which supports medium-power axes when the heat sink is cooled by air from outside the control cabinet. Component gaps and terminals are rated to IP20, so the unit is finger-safe but must still be installed inside a closed panel. The controller accepts digital servo feedback and resolver feedback, which allows it to operate with motors that use either feedback method. This gives the same drive platform flexibility across different motor types in the same machine. The control configuration uses Function ID version 01.

For storage or shipping, the unit can remain unpowered in temperatures from -30–85 °C without damage to its electronic components.
