The DDS02.1-W200-DS50-01-FW is a digital AC servo drive controller built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DDS Drive Controllers series. It regulates current and velocity for synchronous and induction servomotors used in factory automation, packaging, and material-handling axes. By processing position commands from a higher-level motion system, the controller supplies timed power to the attached motor and manages feedback to keep commanded motion profiles accurate. It is suited to applications that require repeatable motion on conveyors, feeders, and indexing systems.

It supports communication over the SERCOS interface, allowing deterministic fiber-optic networking with multi-axis controllers. The unit can deliver a continuous output of 200 A, so connected motors can perform high-torque accelerations without external amplifiers. Thermal management is handled by internal cabinet air cooling, which draws enclosure air across the heat sink. An IP20 protection category limits use to closed panels where accidental contact with live parts is prevented. Reliable operation is permitted at ambient temperatures from 0–45 °C. Motor position is monitored through digital servo feedback, which the drive uses for real-time current control and motion regulation.

The drive remains functional at mounting heights up to 1000 m above sea level without derating, making it suitable for facilities at moderate elevation. When powered down, storage or transport can occur between -30 to +85 °C, which helps protect internal components during shipping and warehouse storage. The product is part of Line 02 and uses hardware version 1 with Function ID version 01. Storage outside that temperature range can affect electronic assemblies and seals, so controlled handling is important when the unit is not energized.
