Product Description:
The DDS02.1-W200-DS24-00 is a digital AC servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and assigned to the DDS Drive Controllers series. Designed for cabinet mounting, the unit coordinates torque and speed loops for synchronous and induction motors in automated machinery. By converting commanded motion data into regulated three-phase power, it forms the interface between the higher-level motion processor and the motor within an industrial automation cell. This arrangement supports controlled acceleration, steady running speed, and repeatable motion in packaging, handling, and similar machine operations. It is suited to axes that need consistent response during frequent starts, stops, and direction changes.
The drive exchanges cyclic position and diagnostic data over a SERCOS interface, allowing deterministic fiber-optic communication with the machine controller. A continuous output capacity of 200 A is the maximum current the power section can supply to the motor windings while staying within its thermal limits. Heat generated by switching losses is removed using air drawn from inside the control cabinet; because the fan recirculates enclosure air, external dust is kept out of the electronics. The housing carries an IP20 protection rating, which provides finger-safe openings but no protection against liquids, so the drive must be installed inside a closed panel. Reliable function is permitted across an ambient temperature of 0 to 45 °C, which suits typical industrial indoor conditions.
During storage or shipment, the assembly tolerates temperatures from -30 to 85 °C, which helps protect insulation and other internal materials when the unit is not powered. At operating altitudes up to 1000 m above sea level, the power stage can deliver rated output without derating. Precise rotor position is relayed to the controller through digital servo feedback, which supports the closed-loop response required for accurate motor control. The unit belongs to Line 02 and is produced as Version 1. Those identifiers distinguish this drive within the DDS product range.
